We live in an old, historic neighborhood of Washington, D.C. called Columbia Heights. We love it because it’s a family-oriented neighborhood with a great sense of community even though it’s part of a big city. The streets here are filled with old homes, big trees, ice cream shops and restaurants, and (most importantly!) kids and playgrounds.One of the things we like best is the neighborhood’s diversity. We have friends here who are Latino, white, African American, gay, and straight.
