About Us

We’ve been committed partners for 8 years and live in Washington, D.C.

Jeff is booksmart and has a strong passion for his work. He loves movies, politics, and, especially, animals (which are the focus of his work). Eric knows how to do and fix just about anything. He’s passionate about cooking, nutrition, biking, and gardening. Eric has boundless energy, and he’s always up for any kind of activity. Jeff is a little more low key—enjoying reading in the park and spending time with close friends.

We’ve been able to find a great balance together: Eric plans all kind of adventures for us whether they’re bike trips halfway around the world or an afternoon picking blueberries at a nearby farm. Jeff makes sure we have time for quiet dinners, walks around the neighborhood, and plans with friends we haven’t seen in awhile.

We both have large, extended families that we’re very close to. Our families put a big emphasis on education when we were growing up. Jeff has a masters degree and a law degree—although he’s not a practicing lawyer. Eric has a masters degree in international finance.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found each other and knew early on that we shared the love for each other and the values for building a life and a family together. As different as we are from each other, we both believe that respect and kindness are the most important qualities to have in life. We are good listeners—to each other and to our friends and families. Spending time with, understanding, and supporting the people in our life are our most important priorities.
